dockBoss electronics are powered by USB, but if your docking station or cable is older and provides charging via Firewire the dockBoss has a built-in charge converter and will still power on without issue.

Works with all speaker docks and many car iPod systems. Not currently compatible with Volkswagen factory installed iPod/iPhone integration kits.
